We first met in 2013 at a hostel that El owned in Manila. Our connection grew over time, blossoming into something truly special. After eight months of long-distance love, we settled down in Melbourne.

Four years later, we got engaged and started planning our wedding. We didn’t want a long engagement, as we had the funds ready and didn’t want an extravagant wedding. We preferred a simple, intimate celebration, even though we had around 90 guests. With a tight timeline of six months, we had to make quick decisions, but we worked together and shared the planning, making sure it was a reflection of both of us.
