"It took me a while to think of the words to leave a review for El and the team at LHE for our wedding 3 months ago - as I wanted to make sure I did them justice. Our wedding was perfect. The preparation and planning of the wedding was perfect and the relationship we were able to build with El made organising our day (all the way from another state!) smooth and stress free. Her care and pride in the venue really shows, as the grounds are immaculate, everything is well maintained and the service is outstanding. THe location is stunning and was exactly what we had pictured in our heads when we were dreaming up our wedding. I could not recommend LHE higher! Thank you El and the team - we are so grateful for the love and care and enthusiasm you all brought on the day (and leading up to!!) xx

Don’t bother with other venues, just go with this one!! El is such a legend. She was answering my questions day or night , she was our personal cheerleader on the day and she is just an absolute ray of sunshine making every interaction with Leonards Hill Estate a dream. When visiting other venues , I don’t think we along with anyone more than we did with El and Keith who truly are down to earth, honest people who are very passionate about making your wedding dreams a reality. This is what you want in a venue team - people who are easy going enough so you can ask any silly question you have but also upbeat and positive enough to share the joy with on the day. Not to mention they are very honest and will tell you if they are not sure (and will get back to you with answers ASAP) but will definitely deliver on any promises made. They are a professional team to work with. And the venue Omg!! It’s the perfect mix between outdoorsy (we got married under the beautiful tree) and classy (the shed at night with the soft lighting is so dreamy)- I want to say modern australiana! Not to mention the abundance of kangaroos who roam around the property which just adds to the Australiana feel of the whole venue. It’s also very customisable and allows for couples to bring their own personal style without clashing with the exisiting buildings/interiors and gardens. Another huge plus point is that it’s in Daylesford which is a lovely place in Victoria for out of towners to spend a weekend in and it was very easy to find accom, brunch spots and things to do for our guests. All of our guests felt the wedding was so relaxed and intimate and this really comes down to the venue. There’s some parking spots too and easy access for buses to drop off your guest. I also loved that there are several customisable packages to suit couples of every budget and I felt their pricing was very reasonable given the high cost of everything these days- they also were happy for us to choose our own vendors and fully customise what we wanted and didn’t want according to our budget. The vendors they suggested were also a very important part of our success on the day- every vendor that was recommended felt like they had been intentionally chosen by El and we were very happy to work with these local and small businesses which made sure the money we spent on this wedding would also stay in the Daylesford community to support their local economy. Another huge plus point was having the homestead on site where we stayed with the bridal party- there was no rush to get to the venue after getting ready because we could simply walk across the courtyard and get the ceremony started. I could keep going on but if you want a wedding that - is based in a modern , Australian venue - Is customisable to suit your individual needs and style - Is Intentional and sustainable (they are solar powered too!) - Your money will go to a family run business and vendors in the Daylesford local economy - Will be remembered by all your guests - Has a team who is an absolute joy to work with I would highly recommend Leonards Hill Estate!!

Best day ever. Best venue. Best owners. All round THE BEST in the business. From the very first time we visited, right until after our wedding, El has made our experience magical!! No question too big or small, so responsive and such a genuinely friendly person to deal with. El went above and beyond for us and made sure everything we wanted was done to perfection. We cannot thank El and the team at Leonards Hill Estate enough for our perfect day.
