Some love stories are written in the stars. Abigail and Brandon's was written on a dance floor.
They first found each other on the Mornington Peninsula — young, carefree, caught up in the kind of summer night you don't forget. But life had its own plans, and they lost touch. Then, in the way that only the best stories go, the universe decided they weren't finished — a chance encounter brought them face to face again, and this time, neither of them let go.
It's easy to see why. Brandon is a man who shows up — for his footy club, for the people he loves, for the moments that matter. Abigail is the kind of woman who builds things: her own business, her own strength, a life she's proud of. Both of them know what it means to work hard, to be part of a team, and to give everything to the people in their corner. Together, they just make sense.
They share their home with two dogs who, by all accounts, are very much part of the family. Abigail's Serbian heritage brought something truly special to their celebration, with traditional dancing that had guests on their feet and reminded everyone that the best weddings feel like a proper gathering of people who love each other.
On the 6th of February 2026, under the grand tree at Leonards Hill Estate, Abigail and Brandon married surrounded by their favourite people. The evening was elegant and warm — guests spilling outside to watch the sunset with drinks in hand before heading inside to dance the night away. Abigail was up at 6:30am soaking in the stillness, watching for kangaroos across the farmlands, taking it all in before the day swept her away.
The night before, she stayed at The Homestead with her bridesmaids — clean, comfortable, and ready for them — waking up to cheese platters and time with family in the outdoor area. A gentle, beautiful lead-in to the biggest day of her life. When El stopped by to check in that morning, it was one of those small gestures that quietly meant everything.
Their guests are still talking about it. And honestly? That says it all.

We visited twice and knew this was where we wanted to get married and bring our family and friends together. El was and is so welcoming, answered all of our questions, and made the whole day run so seamlessly. She even made time to come to the homestead to check in on me and make sure I had everything I needed, which meant so much! The views are sensational, especially at 6:30am when I was looking for kangaroos and taking it all in — and don't get me started on the sunset. Everything we needed was available which made planning so much easier. Writing this makes me a little sad because it truly was the best day with the best people in such a stunning place. If you want a wedding day where you can just relax, take it all in, and not have to worry about anything, this is the place to book!"
