Friday — Arrive and Settle In
Your wedding weekend starts the moment you arrive at Leonards Hill Estate. After a peaceful drive along country roads, the estate opens up in front of you — green lawns, big skies, and space to breathe. Whether you’ve brought your full wedding party or just a few of your closest people, the Homestead instantly feels like home.
You unpack, take a moment to relax, and then head down to The Shed to start setting up for the big day. With styling help on hand, it’s easy and enjoyable — less like work and more like bringing your vision to life together.
When the setup’s done, the evening is yours. You might head into Daylesford for a great meal at a favourite local spot, or stay in and cook something simple at the Homestead while chatting about the day ahead.
Saturday — Your Wedding Day
The morning starts slow, with fresh country air and the sound of birds outside. Hair and makeup begin, the room filled with laughter, music, and the buzz of excitement. Your photographer captures all the little moments — from quiet reflection to fun, candid shots with your crew.
By mid-afternoon, your guests start to arrive. The celebration flows from ceremony to cocktails, then dinner and speeches. As nighttime falls, The Shed comes alive with dancing under the warm festoon and pendant lights. It’s relaxed, joyful, and exactly the atmosphere you imagined.
When the party winds down, you head back to the Homestead together, glad you can stay and soak up every moment without rushing off.
Sunday — Recovery and Rest
Sleep in a little, then wander down for a recovery brunch in The Shed or marquee. Everything’s already set up — just good food, coffee, and stories about the night before with your favourite people.
When your guests head home, the rest of the day is yours. You could pop into town for some shopping, explore a nearby walking trail, or book a massage or spa session to really unwind.
As evening rolls in, grab takeaway pizza and open a bottle of wine back at the Homestead for a quiet night in together.
Monday — Heading Off
Start the day with breakfast for two at one of Daylesford’s popular cafés. Savour the time, talk over the weekend, and let it all sink in. Then, take one last look around the gardens before packing up.
With memories made and the weekend perfectly wrapped up, you head off — either back home or straight into honeymoon mode.

Three Nights in the Homestead

Professional Wedding Coordinator
From the planning stage through to the last song, your dedicated coordinator handles the behind-the-scenes work — vendor communication, event flow, timelines, setup logistics, and any curveballs that come up. They're there so you don't have to be "on" — you can just be present.

Choosing your drinks package is a key part of planning your celebration. We run a fully-managed bar (not BYO), with drinks packages quoted separately from your venue hire. This is how we deliver a seamless, stress-free bar experience from start to finish.
The best part? Everything's included in your package. Your selected wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, 6 hours of professional bar service with experienced staff, premium glassware, ice, and our custom-built bar setup—we've got it all covered. You pick the package that suits your style, and we take care of the rest.
