At Leonards Hill Estate, we offer you a peaceful, private setting for a simple and meaningful way to marry. Nestled in the heart of the Daylesford countryside, our gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for your intimate ceremony — calm, personal, and unhurried.
This offering is designed for couples like you who value simplicity over production — with the freedom to shape your day in a way that feels right for you.
Elopements are available for a limited time only: March, April and May this year, on Saturdays.
These months are typically peak wedding season for us, so this is a rare offering created thoughtfully for a small number of couples.
Your Intimate Elopement Ceremony
This is a relaxed, heartfelt option if you want to focus on the moment, without the complexity of a traditional wedding.

The Grand Tree
A breathtaking spot beneath a centuries-old tree, with sweeping countryside views as your backdrop. Romantic, natural, and unforgettable — perfect for couples who want the beauty of the landscape to frame their vows.
The Courtyard
Exchange vows in our intimate Courtyard, located right in front of The Shed. Sunlight filters through the trees as the wooden arbours, feature trees, and garden beds create a naturally beautiful backdrop. Vintage lighting and 100-year-old timber beams in the portico add a warm, welcoming touch, making the moment feel truly special and personal.
Stay and Celebrate at the Homestead
Make your elopement day even more relaxed by staying right on the estate. Our charming Homestead sleeps up to six guests and offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, lounge, and outdoor spaces — everything you need to settle in, get ready, and unwind in comfort.
Available as an add-on for $700 per night, it’s the perfect home base for a truly seamless and private celebration.
